James Bond eat your heart out

Who doesn’t remember the good old days of gambling, with the tuxedoes, martinis, flashing cufflinks and pretty ladies next to the gambler for luck? But those days are long over, and casinos like that either went bankrupt or changed their game, with the exception of a few top-class ones. After the great revolution that saw casinos go from either glamour or bohemian places to “family fun” venues, there’s a second revolution underway – the advent of online gambling. The Internet changed the way we do business, the way we communicate with each other and the way we access news items – and now it’s changing the way we gamble with our money.
Of course it’s not all fun and games when it comes to online betting. There were safety issues and there still are some legal issues that worry a lot of people. But one thing is for sure: online gambling is here to stay. And the numbers prove it – it’s one of the fastest growing businesses in the World Wide Web. And to prove it is the constant bombardment of ads and popups we get every day while surfing.
And of course, the great motivating force behind the online gambling movement is poker gambling. It started off as something to do in your free time, but now it evolved into something massive. Rumors and true stories about people becoming extremely rich with online poker and the stories of current players in the Poker Tour practicing online made people flock to the many online poker servers available.
